Since many wireless products have not been tested to determine their long-term health effects, the Center for Safer Wireless aims to educate the public about how wireless products work and their potential health effects. These products, which operate using radiofrequency radiation, have no warning labels and are considered safe by United States government agencies, so the public trusts that these products are safe. The Center for Safer Wireless seeks to share
research and reported health effects from products such a
cell phones,
Wi-Fi, and
cordless phones, as well as from
cell phone towers. Our organization believes the precautionary principal should be followed to prevent potential negative health consequences. The precautionary principal states that when there are indications of possible adverse effects, though they remain uncertain, the risks from doing nothing may be far greater than the risks of taking action to control these exposure.
